Pizza Portnoy Ends South Shore Bar Pie Journey On High Note With Randolph Pizzeria

The Barstool Sports owner visited Hoey's, tucked away inside the AmVets at 9 Amvets Lane in Randolph. And the pie didn't disappoint. 

Portnoy didn't go into great detail about what he liked about Hoey's pizza. He took issue with the "floppy" factor, but he enjoyed the pizza overall.  

He gave the restaurant a 7.6, a respectable score on Portnoy's scale. 

Though he admits that growing up in Swampscott made him a bar pie die-hard, and that has impacted his reviews. 

The only pizza to ever score a perfect 10 on a One Bite Pizza Review is Monty's in Lynn. 

Portnoy said his new favorite of his most recent trip through the South Shore was Buddy's Union Villa in North Easton.
